Plans & Billing¶
Parts Diagram bills through Shopify's standard subscription system. Charges appear on your monthly Shopify invoice — no separate payment method is required.
Plan tiers
Pricing details are finalized at app publish time. The tier limits below describe the shape of the plans; actual numbers will be reflected in the Billing screen inside the embedded admin.
What's included¶
| Feature | All plans |
|---|---|
| Unlimited diagrams | |
| Variant + product mapping | |
| Storefront block (Theme App Extension) | |
| Storefront layouts (side / overlay / popup) | |
| Inline add-to-cart | |
| Sale price display | |
| Out-of-stock state handling | |
| Email support |
What scales by plan¶
Higher tiers raise these caps:
- Active diagrams — the maximum number of diagrams that can be simultaneously assigned to live products.
- Monthly hotspot views — total hotspot impressions counted across all storefront sessions in the current billing period.
- Analytics retention — how far back you can scroll the analytics dashboard.
- Concurrent admin seats — number of staff accounts that can edit diagrams at the same time.
How to change plan¶
- In the embedded admin, open Settings → Billing.
- Pick the new plan, click Switch.
- Shopify presents its standard subscription approval screen.
- After you approve, the new limits take effect immediately and your next Shopify invoice prorates the change.
Cancel or uninstall¶
Uninstalling the app from Shopify Admin automatically cancels the subscription — you won't be charged again after the next invoice.
Your diagrams and assignments are kept in cold storage for 30 days after uninstall. Reinstall within that window and everything is restored. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
Trial & refunds¶
- Every new install starts with a free trial. The remaining trial days are visible at the top of the Billing screen.
- Refunds are handled by Shopify per their standard App refund policy.
