Product Diagrams¶
The per-product view: which diagrams render on this product page, in what order, and whether all hotspots are healthy.
You arrive here either by clicking a product from the Assignments list, or via the global product picker in the sidebar.
What's on the screen¶
- Product summary — title, thumbnail, status (Active / Draft / Archived on Shopify), variant count.
- Storefront preview link — opens the live product page in a new tab so you can verify changes without manually navigating.
- Attached diagrams — ordered list, drag to reorder.
- Health indicators per attached diagram:
- Healthy — all hotspots map to live products / variants.
- N issues — some hotspots map to deleted entities. Click to drill into the diagram editor.
- No image — diagram is missing its image asset.
Common tasks¶
Reorder diagrams on this product¶
Drag the diagrams in the Attached diagrams list. Order on the storefront updates on next page load — most stores show a tab bar across the top of the diagram block when more than one is attached.
Detach a diagram¶
Click the × next to any attached diagram. The diagram is unattached from this product only; it remains usable on other products.
Attach another diagram¶
Click Attach diagram and pick from the list. Same flow as Assignments, scoped to the current product.
Jump into the editor¶
Click the diagram name to open the Diagram editor with the current hotspot selection ready.
Tips for large catalogs¶
- Use Storefront Preview before changing anything live to confirm the current state.
- Pin frequently-edited products as bookmarks — Product Diagrams pages are the fastest entry point during catalog maintenance.
- For products that share a diagram, edit the diagram itself — every attached product picks up the change immediately.
